Issue 01 Page 16

It was a common held opinion by the middle and upper classes in England that the colonists had little or no right to complain about their problems. After all, the English thought it was a paradise in the colonies, with enough land and forest for the taking. Why should a people who have so much to gain complain about a little taxes?
For many landless people in England, as well as Europe, the New World offered the opportunity to become landowners and improve their lives.

Issue 01 ‘The Powder Alarm’ Page 16

With this new colouring style I can get pages done MUCH faster, no promises that I can maintain a weekly schedule, but we’ll see ;)
This was a scene I couldn’t wait to draw, Molly’s cousins teasing Richard, poor guy, if it isn’t his friends, it’s girls teasing him!

Last week vote incentive of young Cpt. Edward Marble is available for download in the downloads section with a 1280X1024 size version as well. (wasn’t offered before)

This weeks vote incentive is this sketch of Richard and Molly.
If you can’t tell Richard puts his arms behind his head when he is nervous.

Issue 01 ‘The Powder Alarm’ Page 15

I enjoy this page because Richard attempts to desperately back peddle so as not to offend Molly and her cousins.
I also really enjoy painting Boston.

Before we went offline, I had received a number of requests for more custom artwork for voting incentives. I have finished up a sketch for people to download(in a desktop size) after you vote. :)
Voting Incentive
It’s a sketch of Cpt.Edward Marble as a child with his mother. Later you will find more about his family life and why he was so close to his mother.
I also felt it was a cute image and I have been itching to draw children characters after going to a workshop in Historic Deerfield(MA USA) about 18th century gentlemans clothing that included a section on boys clothing.

If you live in the area I would recommend going if you are interested in 18th century fashions they have quite a wonderful display of original clothing.

Back Online!

L&L Seal Again I apologize for this taking so long but I was new to Wordpress.
I had to rewrite all my historical notes, so if they are different I didn’t keep a copy of the old ones, which was foolish of me.

We’re back online with new features so I hope you will register to be able to use them, such as voting for the next months incentive, which is one of four historical figures designs. This month it’s between General Washington, Sam Adams, Mjr.Pitcairn and John Hancock.

Just to stress to readers the main comic is more or less once every 2 weeks now!
I would rather take my time painting it, to work on other stuff as donator only comics and my normal art outside Loyalty & Liberty. Which I could not do on a weekly schedule that I was always late on!

L&L Seal RSS feed is different to the old one as in the Mailing List!
So I transfer all those that were subscribed to the old mailing list over to the new one.

——If you were subscribed to the old Mailing List, you do not need to re subscribed!——–

This one is a WEEKLY newsletter as apposes to the last one which sent out emails anytime I updated.

You can be subscribed to the News Letter with out being a member, now being a register member to the website will eventually gain you access to more on the website, as well as commenting and voting privileges.
So I encourage viewers to registering.

L&L Seal I want to thank everyone for being patient with this project, it has quite a bumpy start from switching hosts, fatal script errors to having the website hacked.
I also wanted to thank everyone that sent the encouraging emails on getting the site back online. I may not have responded because I was busy rebuilding this layout.

L&L Seal Final note over at DeviantArt Loyalty & Liberty Page 01 Issue 01 got daily deviation on Canada Day (July 1st) very suiting IMO.
First time my comic work has received daily deviation on that art site.
